1986 United States Proof Set

Each set contains five coins with a face value of 91 cents. The five coins included the Kennedy Half, Washington Quarter, Roosevelt Dime, Jefferson Nickel, and Lincoln Cent. Nearly all 1986 proof coins encountered will have a deep cameo proof finish. Some improperly stored sets may exhibit haze within the mirrored fields of the coins.

The packaging for the standard 1986 Proof Set remained unchanged from the prior year. The five coins were placed within individual holes in purple cardboard holder. This was sealed between two plastic lenses to form a single holder. A purple colored outer box with silver printing contained the holder.
