This listing is for a Very Good condition, pre-owned Vintage Moriyama Mori-Machi Hand-Painted Ceramic Clown Themed Figural Juicer/Reamer with Pitcher.
  • Classic Vintage Moriyama Mori-Machi theme, pattern and design.  Circa 1920-30s (+/-).
  • Designed and Produced in Japan for export by the Moriyama factory in Mori-Machi Shizuoka Prefecture.
  • Very displayable and collectible piece.  Will make a fine addition to your Vintage Moriyama ceramic or Juicer/Reamer collection!
  • Piece is in Very Good overall condition considering age and intended purpose of item.  Piece exhibits reasonable, expected signs of handling, use, and wear.
  • Mold detail is relatively crisp and glaze colors are clear, well-defined, and well-applied.  Colors remain clear and bright.
  • No chips, cracks, other known defects beyond those noted below.
  • Item exhibits uniformly-distributed, fine-grained crazing on the white portions (front, interior, and bottom) of the lower pitcher body as shown in photos.
  • Lower pitcher body exhibits minor underglaze areas of age and use-related discoloration as shown in photos.
  • Reamer hat exhibits minor signs of rubbing and wear on blue paint.  Consistent with years of normal kitchen use.
  • May exhibit insignificant flea bites, stray brush marks, glaze, or mold blemishes commonly associated with this type of hand-painted ceramic item.
  • Measures 5" across handle and spout, and 3.5" at widest part.
  • Assembled Pitcher and Juicer head stands 5.5" high.
