Rare SW Native Kachina Painted Goose Egg Art by Ruben Gallegos 1990

This listing is for a Rare piece of Egg Art, by a famous native of Albuquerque, NM, Ruben Gallegos.

It's a beautifully painted goose egg, delicately done to resemble a Native SW Kachina.  The detail work is amazing and the pictures can hardly capture the beautiful brushstrokes or vividness in the design.

Standing 6" tall, the Kachina is signed by Ruben Gallegos, dated 1990. 

Following the pictures of the Kachina, I've included information about the artist, Ruben Gallegos, and how his work is now become quite sought after.  There is even a piece hanging in the White House, among many other famous homes too.
