Vtg *Brooch "Singer Teenage Dressmaker Contest Qualifier's Award" Pin (1950/1960s)

This brooch is a Vintage Singer Teenage Dressmaking Contest Qualifier's Award, typically dating from the 1950s thru early 1960s.  These all-metal pins were awarded to young participants who qualified for an annual dressmaking competition sponsored by the Singer Sewing Machine Company, which began in 1953.   Measures: 1 7/8" x 1 5/16"
