Two (2) MAD Signet Humor Books

The 1st Book, is a Vintage 1960 Like MAD, Signet Humor Book, by William M. Gaines & Various Contributors.  This collection features material from the early days of MAD Magazine.  Humorous stories and comics, with art by the "Usual Gang of Idiots" including Wally Wood, Jack Davis, Don Martin, and others.  (Approximately 192 pages.)  The classic Alfred E. Neuman cover, which depicts the MAD mascot as a beatnik, was painted by renowned fantasy and science fiction illustrator Kelly Freas.

The 2nd book, is a Vintage 1961 Fighting MAD, Signet Humor Book.  It is the 11th volume in the MAD Reader series of paperback reprints from MAD Magazine. The book is a compilation of comic strip reprints and satirical content from early issues of MAD Magazine.  This iconic cover features the character Alfred E. Neuman as a boxer tied to the ropes, and was painted by Frank Kelly Freas.
